Day 1, Kapalai Resort

The Kapalai resort we booked arranged a chartered car to pick us up directly at Tawau Airport, which is very convenient! It takes 1 Hr from the airport to Semporna. After arriving, the people in the kapalai center have arranged for a speedboat to take us directly to Kapalai Resort to arrange check-in. The boat journey is about 40-60 minutes.

When the time comes, we can directly have lunch and hand over all our diving items to the dive shop, and prepare for a check dive later.




Day 2: Kapalai & Mabul Diving

The next morning started a day of 3 dives to dive near Mabul Island and Kapalai. When you return to Kapalai at 4 o'clock, you can start enjoying the sea in Kapalai. You can also rent a transparent boat to take pictures or snorkel in the middle of Kapalai's house.




Day 3: Sipadan Diving

On the third day, we entered Sipadan! Get up early at 5 am, gather at 5:30 am, and enter Sipadan at 6 am. Our three dives will finish diving at 12 pm and then go back to Kapalai to continue enjoying the beautiful paradise!




Day 4:  Check out Kapalai resort go to Semporna

On the fourth day, the boat departs for Semporna city center at 11:30 am.

I chose to rent Neo Paly because it was newly refurbished, and it was recommended by many Internet celebrities, so I rented this room, and I feel that it is not bad.

But overall it's ok. The location is very good. The pasar in semporna town is very lively downstairs. You can go for a walk when you go downstairs. It's not too far to walk to the restaurant street by the sea. There are also some entertainment and deco in the hotel that can take pictures for you to play and rest.




Day 5: Bohey Dulang Island , Mantabuan island

On the fifth day, we went to the dive shop in the town to go climbing and diving. Bohey Dulang is the first event in the morning. It takes 40 minutes to drive from the town to Bohey Dulang. This is a small hill, and it takes 15-20 minutes to climb up. It's not difficult to climb but it's very slippery. You must wear covered shoes. If you don't have covered shoes, you can't go on it, but you can rent kampung adidas at the foot of the mountain. Slippers are not allowed. Especially if it rains, it will be closed directly, so it depends on your luck, the bigger the sun, the more beautiful the scenery!

We started our two dives. The first dive is Mantabuan Island. The corals here are super beautiful, and they are relatively healthy with many big flowers. It is also very enjoyable to dive slowly to see the corals! Here we also encountered a small group of waves! Barracuda! Super lucky!

If you just go snorkeling, you can also choose this island, it should be very good! If the water level is high enough, you can also go to the island to take pictures, which is also very beautiful.

Another dive is to go back to Bohey Dulang to dive.





Day 6: Sipadan Again

On the sixth day, enter Sipadan again! It is specially arranged to enter Sipadan for two days. The first potential south point saw a storm of Jackfish fish schools. Although I have seen it for the first time, the weather this day is better with the sun, and the fish schools have been around us for 15 minutes for us to take pictures slowly!

The second potential Midreef, the DM has been working hard to find the Barracuda fish school storm, and finally found it! But we still need to wait on top of them at surface intervals, fearing that they will swim away~ We just take a 30-minute break before going down. Generally speaking, it is safer to have an interval of 1 hour.

The third dive is to Hanging Garden! Just watching corals, fishes and turtles by the stone wall, there is also a bottomless abyss hundreds of meters deep below, and the corals here are super amazing when diving close to the wall! And there are many wall holes, there will be turtles resting in them, and they are all big and beautiful, and the corals are also very beautiful! The underwater scenery here is super beautiful!





Day 7: Check Out and fly home.

On the morning of the seventh day, breakfast is included also check out will be this day for the journey.
